The technology is available for RVMs that enables the container return to be registered in a loyalty card account (or a cashless catering card) instead of being printed out on a receipt. This technology gives the consumer the chance to save up his or her points, either in a separate account or combined with a supermarket's loyalty card program, thereby providing increased value for the consumer and encouraging loyalty to the retailer.
