The Eleiko Petimeter is a reliable, proven and flexible machine for counting, sorting and registration of bottles and cans of different sizes. It is designed to combine high throughput with high availability and reliability.
High throughput - Low operational costs
High capacity per invested €
The Eleiko Petimeter has a counting speed during a batch of 45-50 bottles/minute (2700-3000 bottles/hour) when running PET-bottles. Average real throughput in operation is 2000-2500 bottles/hour. For cans the average throughput is about 5000- 6000 cans/hour.
Measurements on the Coca-Cola installation in Tilburg, where mainly large PET-bottles are counted, shows an average speed of 48-49 bottles/minute (2900 bottles/hour) during counting and a throughput of 2200 bottles/hour in real operation.
Low operating costs
There is normally one operator for three Petimeters. The service costs are less than 2 €
per operating hour or about 0,08 cent/bottle.
High availability
The stops and down-time is low due to robust and proven technical solution.
Measurements from the Coca-Cola installation in Tilburg show availability better than 98%.
